From application to departure: how the Pink Wave recruitment process works

Eight steps. No surprises. Just everything you need to know before you leave.

You submitted your application to become an entertainer. What happens next? For many candidates, especially those approaching their first season, the recruitment process can feel like the biggest unknown. Will someone call me? What happens during the interview? When will I know my destination? When do we talk about salary? And when does everything become official? At Pink Wave, we believe you should understand the process you’re entering from the very beginning. So let’s go through it together.

The Pink Wave recruitment process takes candidates from an online application to contact with our Recruiting Team, an interview, a Pink Wave Event, a potential job proposal and, finally, preparation for departure. Before leaving, selected candidates receive clear information about their resort, role, team, salary, contract duration, departure and expected return dates. Now, let’s look at every step.

Step 1: Submit Your Application Online

Everything starts with your application. Candidates interested in working with Pink Wave can apply directly through our official website by completing the dedicated form. This is our first opportunity to learn something about you. Your experience matters, your skills matter — but don’t worry if this would be your first season. Many candidates approach resort entertainment without previous experience. The application isn’t about proving that you’re already the perfect entertainer. It’s about taking the first step.

Step 2: Our Recruiting Team Contacts You

After receiving and reviewing applications, our Recruiting Team contacts candidates whose profiles could match our opportunities. This is where the relationship really begins. And yes, there are real people behind the recruiting process 😉. From this moment on, you’ll have the opportunity to understand more about Pink Wave, ask your first questions, and prepare for the next stage: the interview.

Step 3: The Interview

The word “interview” can make people nervous. We know. But at Pink Wave, the interview isn’t an exam — it’s a conversation designed to help us understand who you are beyond your application. We want to learn more about your personality, motivation, previous experiences, language skills, interests, availability, the roles that could suit you, and your expectations about working abroad. There aren’t perfect answers we’re waiting to hear. Authenticity matters much more than a rehearsed speech. And remember: you can ask questions too. Recruitment works both ways — we’re getting to know you, but you’re also getting to know us.

Step 4: The Pink Wave Event

If the recruitment process continues positively, the next stage is one of our Pink Wave Events. This is where the experience becomes much more tangible. You get the chance to experience the Pink Wave world beyond a screen, meet people connected to the company, and understand more about the reality of resort entertainment. For us, this stage is important because a CV and an interview can tell us a lot — but meeting someone in a live environment can tell us even more. How do you interact with people? How do you approach new situations? How do you communicate? How do you behave within a group? These are qualities that matter when you’re about to live and work as part of an entertainment team.

Step 5: Matching Your Profile with an Opportunity

Passing through the recruitment stages doesn’t mean randomly assigning you to the first available resort. The next step is finding a suitable match between your profile and the opportunities available. Several factors can influence this, including your role, skills, experience, languages, availability, resort requirements, available positions, and destination needs. This is why two candidates who apply at the same time may receive completely different proposals. The objective is not simply to send someone somewhere — it’s to create the best possible match between person, role, team, and resort.

Step 6: The Proposal Call

This is the call everyone has been waiting for. “Where am I going?” 👀🌍 If we have an opportunity that matches your profile, our team contacts you with a job proposal — and this is one of the most important moments in the entire Pink Wave recruitment process. Because this is when we give you the practical information you need to evaluate the opportunity. During the proposal call, we discuss your destination, resort, role and team, salary, contract duration, departure date and expected return date, accommodation and meals, and all other relevant contract conditions and practical information about your experience. You shouldn’t have to accept an opportunity without knowing what you’re accepting. Transparency comes before departure. Always.

Step 7: You Evaluate the Proposal

Receiving a proposal is exciting — suddenly, the experience you’ve been imagining has a destination, a resort, and a departure date. But it’s also a professional decision. This is your opportunity to understand the proposal, ask any remaining questions, and make an informed choice. We don’t want candidates to say yes because they feel pressured. We want them to understand what they’re committing to. Because when you accept a season, you’re making a commitment not only to Pink Wave and the resort, but also to the team that will be working alongside you.

Step 8: Preparing for Departure

You said yes. Now it’s real. ✈️ The final phase is about getting ready. Before departure, selected entertainers receive all the information they need to prepare for their season — documents, practical details, travel information, what to bring, what to expect, and all those little questions that suddenly appear when you realize: “Wait… I’m actually leaving.” The goal is simple: you shouldn’t arrive at your destination wondering what happens next. You should arrive prepared to begin.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Pink Wave Recruitment Process

When will I know my destination? You’ll know your destination when you receive your specific job proposal. During the proposal call, we explain the resort and destination together with all the other important conditions of the opportunity.

When will I know my salary? Before accepting your job proposal. Salary is discussed during the proposal stage, together with your role, resort, contract duration, departure and expected return dates, accommodation, meals, and all other relevant conditions.

Will I know who is in my team before leaving? The team is one of the elements discussed as part of the proposal and pre-departure process, based on the information available for your assignment. After all, your destination matters — but the people you’ll share it with matter too.

How long does the Pink Wave recruitment process take? There isn’t one identical timeline for every candidate. Timing can depend on the period in which you apply, your availability, your profile, the role you’re applying for, and the opportunities currently available. That’s also why applying early can help — the earlier we get to know you, the more time there is to evaluate potential opportunities as positions and destinations become available.

From “Apply” to “I’m Leaving”

At the beginning, it’s just a form — a few personal details, your experience, your availability, one click on Apply. Then comes a call, an interview, a Pink Wave Event, a proposal, a destination, a date on the calendar. And suddenly the question isn’t “What if I applied?” It’s “How many days until I leave?” That’s the Pink Wave recruitment journey. And if you’re thinking about your next season, yours could start with exactly the same first step.

One click on Apply. Everything else follows.

See you soon, PinkWavers.

Pink Positive, Pink Wave

Jde o to, udělat první krok.

Krok 3: Pohovor

Slovo “pohovor” může lidi znervóznit. Víme to. A pamatuj: i ty můžeš klást otázky.

Krok 4: Pink Wave Event

Během proposal callu probíráme tvou destinaci, resort, roli a tým, plat, dobu trvání smlouvy, datum odjezdu a předpokládané datum návratu, ubytování a stravování a všechny ostatní relevantní smluvní podmínky a praktické informace o tvé zkušenosti.

Plat je projednáván během fáze nabídky, spolu s tvou rolí, resortem, dobou trvání smlouvy, daty odjezdu a předpokládaného návratu, ubytováním, stravováním a všemi ostatními relevantními podmínkami.

A najednou otázka není “Co kdyby ses přihlásil?” Ale “Kolik dní do odjezdu?” To je cesta náboru Pink Wave. A pokud přemýšlíš o své příští sezóně, tvoje by mohla začít úplně stejným prvním krokem.

Du hast deine Bewerbung als Entertainer eingereicht. Was passiert als nächstes? Was passiert während des Interviews? Lass uns ihn also gemeinsam durchgehen.

Schritt 2: Unser Recruiting Team kontaktiert dich

Schritt 4: Das Pink Wave Event

Schritt 6: Der Proposal Call
